Summary
Sevika is used to be alone and she doesn't miss company at all, not anymore. That's the reason why she nearly doesn't answer when a random Friday evening Mel Medarda knocks at her door after almost a year of no contact.
She falls for her tricks and her green eyes again and before she knows it she has an unstable teenager and a non-verbal kid living under her roof. She'll have to figure out a way of making it work while she tries to mend her relationship with an emotionally unavailable lawyer.

The thing about nightmares was that most of the time, you can't tell you're in one. And when you do, it's easy to just force yourself to wake up. Cate life had felt like a nightmare for so long, she had lost that ability to gain consciousness. All her dreams were long, vivid and harrowing. Maybe it had something to do with her powers, she had been adviced that the powers of the mind tended to fuck with brains in very diverse ways.
