    Miku’s mouth falls open, shock spreading across her face as her hands tighten around the cardboard takeout holder. Rin can tell she wants to dramatically clasp at her heart and feign pain, but the tealette wouldn’t dare drop everyone else’s drinks. Rin’s maybe. “Ouch, Kagamine, your words hurt.” Miku’s bottom lip trembles as she heads over to the table to the left, eyes big and glassy.

    Len and Kaito shuffle in the corner, clearly at a loss of what to do in this situation where the tealette seems near tears. Rin would be concerned too, but the thing is she knows Miku and this isn’t even close to her real crying face. She wonders if Miku knows that she knows that too.

    In which Miku is a sassy lil queen and Rin regrets her decisions.
