Basically, I loved the 'Heirs of the Night' series and I got the ending I wanted and it was absolutely amazing....
But I couldn't accept that the Vamalia gift, the power of love, is just the Spark or even something passive like being likeable to other people. SO I'm doing this.

Wei Wuxian didn’t have much humanity left to begin with.
So to no one’s surprise, after his death, he came back as a being of demonic energy, a wrath.
But he made sure to avoid the locals of Yilling. They were innocent, he knew, and they didn’t deserve his anger.
They prayed to him daily too and wasn’t that something.
Eventually a certain god couldn’t help but notice he was being worshipped along a different red-clad figure, as opposed to usual. Neither could the god’s husband.
