Julian grits his teeth. “There is no such thing as Satan, or any devil in capacity, the same way there is no God. I am the God of football, and Hugo is merely my number two.”
Julian does not believe in God, as he believes that he is the deity of his own life. His philosophy grabs the attention of an entity that grants his wish to become the best player in the world. Casualties included.

“Touchy today, aren't we?” Julian could not hide the irritation radiating off from his face as Vivian tries to move in this cramped space. He tries, and fails, ending up grabbing Julian's ass. If Julian himself could barely move in this closet, he would've believed Vivian did it on purpose.

Reo had no strong opinions on Nagi’s life before him.
It was probably pretty selfish, but his treasure never brought it up, never offered anything other than scarce pieces of information that left him confused and concerned but contented in the fact that Reo had him now.
So his parents could go, they could travel, do whatever it was they were doing. Reo didn’t care. As long as they left him Nagi, he wouldn’t cause any problems.
Yet, it was one of those days when they were eating dinner in Nagi’s apartment, the two huddled around his two seated table, when he began to realise it shouldn’t have been Nagi’s parents he should be worried about.

“I can’t try for me.” He admitted. “It’s easier if it’s for Reo.”
Reo fell silent. Nagi looked away.
The two were shoulder to shoulder. The beds in the infirmary were bigger than the typical twins in the dorms, but it was still a tight fit between two athletes. Reo shifted onto his side, grabbing Nagi’s shoulder and turning him until his head was tucked under Reo’s chin. Then, slowly, carefully, he wrapped two arms around the beanpole currently limp against him.
If they had never split up, if Nagi hadn’t been stupid enough not to realise Reo would gladly follow him to hell, he could’ve worked on this. Could’ve been a guiding hand, instructed Nagi on portions and the best foods to build up jaw strength and his appetite. He would have made lists, plans. Found alternatives and work arounds. Could’ve molded his treasure best.
But they were apart.
And despite their upcoming rivalry battle, Reo had a feeling it might stay that way.
So, he did what he could.
Told him the last thing he wanted to say.
Because it was the only way they were both making it out of this.
“Keep trying.”
Nagi settled against the crook of his neck.
“Okay.”
