“What the fuck,” she starts, pointing first from her spot on the floor and then scrambling to her feet while clinging to the sink to keep herself from slipping on the tile, “gives you the right to say that!”
They're level again now. Taissa likes that much better. An equal opponent is more fun to take down. She leans back against the door as she takes a swig of beer.
“Isn’t it the truth? You said too much, he didn’t want to hear it. It’s how that always goes, right? At least if I have to believe Shauna.” She smirks at Jackie’s quickly reddening face.
“Don’t you bring her into this.” Jackie stomps one foot for emphasis. “You’re just a jealous loser, Taissa Turner!”
