“Not to worry, Yoshino,” Gojo announces brightly and while Megumi can’t see his eyes he feels them flicker to him for the smallest fraction of a second and something in his stomach drops. Oh no. “I just know what to do. Don’t you worry about that, your teacher has it all figured out!”
Megumi opens his mouth, impending doom hanging over his head like a storm cloud, but by then it’s already too late, lightning has already struck. Gojo, the biggest ass in human history, flashes thumbs up in the round and then goes: “I’m sure our brightest little shikigami user would love to help you.”
(or: Yuji comes back from the dead, comes back from the dead with a shiny new friend and Megumi is totally cool with that. Everything's peachy. Really.)

Summary
“You drive me fucking crazy,” Yuji whispers into his ear. “When we’re together, I can’t help myself. I wanna latch onto you and never let go. It’s such a strong feeling, Megumi, it’s like– it’s almost like I want to eat you.”
“Do you feel territorial? Like a wild animal?” Megumi says, and he tries to come across as playful, but the hitch in his breath betrays how he really feels about Yuji’s confession.
“Yes,” Yuji says, earnest and unwavering. “What was it that you said? Staking my claim? Yeah… That’s exactly what it is.”
Megumi awakens a feeling of possessiveness within both himself and Yuji upon recognizing the true nature of their relationship.

Summary
“Your neck is so pretty,” Yuji murmurs, and Megumi shivers from the way his fingers explore the expanse of his throat, almost ticklish. “I think your uniform would hide it if I bruised you right here. Do you think so?”
Megumi immediately nods. He doesn’t even fully register the question. He just wants Yuji to choke him, wants to feel his teeth sinking into him, wants Yuji to make him bleed. He’s so fucking desperate, he’s nauseous with want, head dizzy with such thick desire. He can’t even focus on anything except for Yuji’s hand on his neck and his weight on his lap. And his scent. Yuji smells so fucking good.
“I want your hands around my throat,” Megumi speaks without much thought. “Choking me. I want you to hurt me, Yuji.”
Megumi’s body is covered in various bruises and injuries that seem to never heal. He finds himself obsessed with the pain, as well as the visual reminder of whose hands dealt the damage.

Summary
Yuji’s head hurts from trying to make sense of the whole situation. It’s obvious that Megumi likes that what they’re doing is wrong, but at the same time, having to hide it is precisely what breaks him up inside. It’s a strange contradiction that Yuji can’t quite bring himself to understand.
He thinks that Megumi must be using the lack of morality in their actions as some sort of justification for something. Like, if what he and Yuji are doing is nothing but them being horrible people and bad boyfriends, then it can never go as deep as true intimacy and love between two individuals—two boys. They’re just two people who are doing bad things.
Fuck, but there’s still something incredibly intimate about that. To share such a secret, to be the only people in the world who know what they’ve been doing, is something that feels so deeply personal, that it’s almost romantic.
In which Yuji and Megumi make a series of drunken mistakes.
