Kiryu was dead and he had meant to stay dead, but when Majima barged into the room with the loud, unapologetic sound of Kiryu's name on his tongue, scaring him out of his skin and making his heart soar jubilantly into his throat, he realized then and there just how full of shit he had been for the past three solitary years.
Kiryu was very much alive, and Majima wasn't going to let him leave without beating that terrible, glorious fact into his face where he couldn't ignore it.

Noiz stared at the icon of the user who had pinged him. His first thought was that the selfie had been yanked from an image search engine. A twenty-three year old man, according to the profile, and so gorgeous Noiz found it far too difficult to take his eyes off him. He couldn't help but be suspicious. The decent potential bedmates almost never came to him first, he usually had to scour Connections top to bottom before he found one that didn’t look like your average catfish account. He scrolled down to the profile description.
Single. Looking for a good time with someone.
Better than a lot of other ones he had read, at least. He opened the private chat box and pecked out a quick message. Perhaps "S.Aoba" was fake, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to find out.

Kiryu would never claim to be the smartest man on earth. In fact, if he’s being entirely honest, his life is essentially a patchwork of poor decisions strung together by their inevitable fallout and embellished with the occasional Good Thing.
When Kiryu agrees to the arrangement, he really, genuinely has every intention of following it to the letter, and he does his best… initially.

Now he was able to fully take in the stranger's sharp features, his angled jaw, and that ever-present smirk; a testament to his clearly well-placed confidence. On anyone else it would be something terribly ugly, a smug, foolish mark of complacency, something you couldn't wear in Kamurocho for too long before someone punched it directly off your face. But on this guy, with his brash aura of sheer willpower, it was practically magnetic.
