“I don’t pity you,” Yeonjun spoke softly. He loosened his grip on Beomgyu’s wrist, letting the younger go. “Staying up late just sounds lonely.”
Beomgyu held his stare, and even though Yeonjun released him, he didn’t step back. “Well, the medication should help with that, too.”
“Gyu-yah,” Yeonjun hesitated. He looked into the younger’s eyes and felt his own expression soften. “Next time you can’t fall asleep, come knock on my door instead of taking refuge on the couch.”
Beomgyu, a third year music major, battled more than just insomnia. During winter break, he learned his new situation would lead well beyond sleepless nights. And while his friends remained unaware, Beomgyu knew he had eroded down to a single grain of the man he used to be. Though one person noticed his change in character, offering up his bed as a safe haven.

Summary
Multitudes of horrible scenarios entered Beomgyu's mind when he realized he put the letter in the wrong locker, but this certainly wasn't one of them.
Yeonjun materializes out of nowhere and suddenly appeared beside Beomgyu's locker, almost causing him to have a heart attack.
"Hey, I have to admit the letter was a bit cheesy, but you're pretty cute so I'll go out with you." Yeonjun finishes his death sentence to Beomgyu with a smirk.
"Hah?!" Beomgyu replies the dumbest thing he could think of and silently prays for those things from hellbound to come get him now.
Or Beomgyu mistakenly puts his love letter that was supposed to be for Soobin on Yeonjun's locker and now he has to deal with the fact that the hottest boy in school just agreed to go out with him on a date.

oh wow who knew a fluffy arranged marriage fic could make me reflect so much on my own life. as i grow older, i think abt all the opportunities i could’ve or should’ve taken or the experiences i did take and wish i could go back to. but maybe getting older and finally graduating high school and college doesn’t mean those carefree can-only-experience-when-you’re-a-dumb-teenager days are over. Maybe those days last a long life time. Maybe the best days are when you are older and wiser, yet still learning so much about yourself
