A drunken christmas party later, Denki said that Shinsou said he knew a guy. Someone experienced, discreet, and able to put Katsuki on his knees and keep him there.
(Shinsou said the last part with such a smirk that Eijirou stepped in before anyone’s head got blown off.)
He had refused to elaborate further, but offered to pass along Katsuki’s details and set up a meeting. Katsuki didn’t ask why Denki looked as though he’d heard a really terrible joke he couldn’t wait to share. He should have fucking asked.
Bakugou needs a release. Aizawa offers it to him.

"The man in the airlock was too conscious.
Well, “man” might not be accurate, Ryland Grace thought as he tried to ignore the screams, his fingers shaking over the keyboards as erratically as his gaze jittering between readout screens. Big red letters announcing “DANGEROUS CONTAMINATION” flashed on half of them. He chanced another look through the tiny airlock window, where the humanoid covered in a red, blood-like substance rolled around on the floor writhing in pain. He hadn’t been writhing when they found him: he hadn’t been anything when they picked up the abnormal shape drifting in the Patrova line on their way to Erid."Ryland Grace has never been great at making friends. Now that he has a mutated, traumatized, and possibly insane man in the Hail Mary's quarantine room, he wishes he would have practiced more. Rocky wishes they'd ejected the monster out of the airlock.

“What are you talking about?” Grace's fingers played quick chords as he spoke. He didn’t even look as he did it, but it did not make them any less purposeful.
“Discussing possible reasons why Tau Ceti is not infected while other stars are,” Eva replied deftly. “I would invite you to join, but we were just finishing—”
“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

En route to Erid, the Hail Mary picks up a signal from an unknown object. It turns out to be a ship– an impossibly HUMAN ship, nearly 12 light-years away from anywhere that might make sense. Curiosity kills the cat, Grace and Rocky get a little bit more than they bargained for, and the Hail Mary might just have a new crewmate.
If he lives, that is.
