Summary
In 2008, Enjolras and his friends went to a protest, where he was shot, a young man who failed to become historic. In 2009, the dead began to rise, mindless, hungry for flesh. The government, which failed to protect smaller cities from the risen dead, finally rounded up the risen and began to medicate them, giving them medicine that gave them back their minds. Now, the undead, or "Partially Deceased Syndrome sufferers" are being rehabilitated and sent back to their communities.
Basically, the Les Miserables/ In the Flesh crossover that no one asked for.

Beside them, Combeferre lets out a loud groan and faceplants on the kitchen table, nearly upsetting his coffee mug. A flash of guilt passes over Courfeyrac's face. "I mean that...not in a weird way."
"Stop talking," Combeferre says. "Please."Or, Combeferre is terrified of the future and everyone around him and hopelessly in love with his best friend and Grantaire is homeless and suddenly finds himself living in a commune where everyone is overly invested in organic gardening and something called Kombucha. No one ever said your 20s were easy.

Summary
The women of the neighborhood waited for the young bachelor to forget to buy sugar and clumsily knock on their door to ask for some, but to their utmost dismay most of the time he kept inside and very often, delicious scents danced their way out of the opened kitchen window. The neighbors noticed that he had company at nights, and often they heard more than one voices, so they waited impatiently to finally meet that lucky, pretty girl who had made her way to the eligible man’s heart. Then the grocer of the neighborhood, Monsieur Pelland, said that some other man had moved in with him. They found it hard to believe, but Monsieur Pelland was a respectable middle aged man with a round belly and all of his black hair still on his head, and soon one after the other the neighbors started spotting the man.
His name was Grantaire.

Summary
For most of college, Grantaire was hopeless over Enjolras, and everyone but Enjolras knew it. Now he’s worked to get over his crush, and for the most part, he's fine. When Combeferre asks him to choreograph and dance in the Midsummer Night’s Dream-inspired opera he composed as his senior thesis, Grantaire says yes, even though he’s cast opposite Enjolras, as Puck to his Oberon. The chance to dance is worth the potential problems, and he'll have his friends as a buffer.
He doesn't count on long hours of practicing and choreographing and talking together, while they try to figure each other and their futures out. As much as he tries to avoid it, it seems inevitable that he falls for Enjolras again, and this time it isn't a crush.

In his arms little Geneviève sleeps soundly. He doesn’t know what to do with her. He doesn't know how to be a father.
