Somehow, within the span of an hour, like a strike of lightning, I’ve gone from indifference to appreciation (and, let’s be honest, some sense of relatability) toward Steve Rogers. And so, I eagerly scoured the tags in the dead of night, and struck gold! Lovely fic to compound upon my sudden interest! Someone give this poor man a hug and a home.
Now it’s time to go watch Steve’s movies, at last!

Loki spoke quietly. Tiredly. His voice had lost all its charm, and all that was left was raw vulnerability. “I… have nowhere else to go.” The question was implicit.
He swallowed, and Gamora wondered if she had ever seen him so vulnerable. Not for a long time, not since he had first come to Sanctuary, before he had been hardened. Just like her and Nebula had been. They had all been forged in the same flames, hadn’t they?
“Please, Sister?”
She looked at him, silent and trying to hide the fidgeting of his hands behind his back, and caught his eye, watching as he held his breath. She recalled what Drax had said: Family. She wanted hers whole.
And then Gamora smiled softly at her brother, and gestured up the gangplank. “Welcome aboard, Loki.”

What if Loki had never been sent to Earth by Thanos? What if he stayed on Sanctuary for years, spending time with Gamora and Nebula and others of the Black order until 2014, when he was sent with the sisters to aid Ronan in his quest? What if, soon after, Loki joined the Guardians of the Galaxy?
I just wanted to write a fic where Loki Nebula and Gamora bond and become siblings, and Loki joins the GotG for wacky space hijinks, okay?

exactly what I need from kakagai ! the characterisation is fantastic; Gai gets the loving, thoughtful portrayal he deserved. Kakashi and Gai’s relationship is sweet, but not easy. Even so, they’re there for each other: eternal rivals !!!!
