Phuwin sat up, reaching out to brush a stray lock of hair from Pond’s forehead, sending shivers down Pond’s spine that he immediately pretended he didn’t feel. “Yes. Clubs here are open until sunrise. You said you wanted to try it.”
Pond swallowed, the memory of the fanmeet’s adrenaline still fluttering through him. The thought of loud music and strangers felt daunting, but Phuwin’s excitement was contagious.
“What if it’s too much?” Pond murmured.
Phuwin’s fingers curled around Pond’s wrist, warm and steady. “I’ll be right there. We’ll stick together.”
A small smile broke across Pond’s face, and he nodded. “Okay. Just one night.”
Phuwin’s grin deepened, eyes sparkling. “That’s my good boy.”
Thump. Pond ignored the way warmth flooded his senses and crawled up his ears just from that simple phrase.

Everything is easy generally, on the big picture. But to have every details map out for a smooth execution? Pond would rather do the one thousand pieces puzzle instead of stressing over details.
But nevertheless, he has three months before Phuwin's birthday and if he want to make his plan come alive, he needs to sacrifice his comfort zone just for three months and that's it.
This is the time for him to test if his 'perform well under stress' in resume could be trust or not.

It’s bad, genuinely, but he thought a lot, and being guilty and shameful don’t help, if he’s honest. It doesn’t change the fact. Doesn’t erase that night. It’s good to lie to himself, but he cannot do it all the time, not when Phuwin is right here, sometimes more at reach than ever.
