Blue watched as Green’s rambling trailed off, his voice dissolving into quiet, restless laughter for just a moment before cutting short. His pacing never stopped—ten steps that way, one-eighty, ten steps the other way, repeat.
Sighing (and ignoring the scratch against his throat), Blue ran a hand through his own hair. He was faring about as well as Green was, which was to say poorly, covered head to toe in the marks of a cave-in.
At least he hadn’t already lost it, unlike a certain someone who wouldn’t stop pacing.
