The first thing Baizhu notices as he regains consciousness is that it is still far too early in the night to warrant being awake.
The second thing Baizhu notices is that he had evidently overworked himself while treating patients the day prior, and was now paying the price for it in the stiff, aching pains layered throughout the muscles of his body.
The third thing he notices is that there is someone else in the room with him.

The doctor’s jiangshi ward is a strange little thing, with odd mannerisms and a faulty memory. Baizhu is well known in Liyue Harbor for his genteel patience when treating children. Qiqi just wants to help.
