“Cas’s fine,” Dean says shortly, and sue him if he’s a little irritated, alright? God forbid a guy try to spend some quality time with his boyfriend. (The shiver that runs through him at the title is equal parts excitement and terror. He’s working on it.)
Sam hangs up before he can say anything else and Dean tosses his phone over somewhere in the front seat to grin wickedly down at his angel.

He doesn't trust that damn angel.In which Sam attempts to keep the peace, Castiel is completely unapologetic, Dean doesn't quite get the cute coming-out story he was hoping for, and John tries, and fails, and tries again, to adjust to the new order of things.

Summary
They get Cas back from the Empty, and they don't talk about the confession. Not that Dean knows what he’s going to do if they talk about the confession, but he knows he wants to do something. Get Cas a dozen flowers or locally sourced honey because he just thinks Cas really deserves good things.
Out on a hunt, after yet another instance of Cas's devotion to Dean and the greater good of humanity, Cas is acting like it is nothing at all. Dean, his mind still reeling with the almost constant realization that Cas would and has died for him or his loved ones, presses Cas to answer why he so consistently sacrifices things for others—specifically the Winchesters. To which Cas just tilts his head, eyes squinted, and says, “Because of love.”
Then it looks like they’re going to talk about it, the confession. Cas looks steeled as if he expects the worst.

Loki returned to Asgard clapped in irons after his invasion of Earth. After much discussion and bargaining it was decided the best course of action was to execute him for his crimes. On his way to his death his salvation arrives, but it is not his brother or mother come to plead for his life.
His savior is a young woman from the village that does not look as if she has two copper pieces to rub together. But she does have a proposal that may save his life. A marriage proposal. By the laws of Asgard this act absolves him of his crimes…so long as he remains married.
