Summary
The older Mike and Eleven got, the harder it became for anyone to pretend they were still kids. It was especially hard for Hopper. First it had been manageable - a movie evening here and a bike ride there, Mike stopping by the cabin after school. Normal things that didn’t really worry Hopper, but made him glad that Eleven could taste the normal life with her friends, without worrying about monsters or “bad men” hurting her. The issue was… She mostly hung out with one person and it was Mike Wheeler. And it became clear as day that he was nowhere near “just a friend” of hers.

Mike and Eleven discover new ways of being close to one another. Despite all the rules and punishments that keep being thrown in their face.
