Summary
Mikey struggles through breakfast. The four infant turtles babble away at each other, voices overlapping and Mikey grips his cereal spoon so hard he feels it press bluntly into the palm of his hands, no doubt leaving harsh indentations across his skin.
Even eating seems to make it worse, as he slowly moves his jaw in languid circles to chew his food, it’s like an explosion working its way up his skull each time.
He gets a quarter through his own bowl before he’s sharing it out amongst his children.
Odyn doesn’t question it, Moja and Yi are apprehensive at first but Uno is entirely hesitant.
“Are you not hungry, papa?” He asks once Mikey has scraped his share into his awaiting, empty bowl. He’s already up out of his seat and turning to start the dishes when he pauses.
He steadies himself on the edge of the counter with one hand.
“Eat,” Mikey tells him softly. “You wanna be big and strong like papa, no?”
And that usually works on all four of his children, but Uno doesn’t look entirely convinced as he shovels in the first spoonful of Cheerios.

A pointed metal prong met her throat, far enough away not to cut her jugular but close enough that if she tried to make a break for it, she’d be skewered.
“Chasing us down is one thing,” said the red-masked turtle with a vicious smirk. He kept his grip on his sai firm as his brothers circled around him and April. “It’s gutsy enough that I can actually respect it. But threatening our pizza? Now you made it personal. Big mistake.”
April held her breath. She would not do what she wanted to do, she would not, she would not –
April burst out into uproarious laughter, her giggles so uncontrollable that the mutant that could only be Raphael had to ease up his grip on his sai. He just stared at her in confusion, as did the rest of his brothers, as April struggled to quiet her laughter.
“I’m – I’m sorry,” April said between giggles. It was so bad that her glasses started fogging up. “You’re just – really short.”

Summary
As of recently, however, the two have been getting along. Saving someone twice in the same year does that apparently. Getting along seems to present its own set of problems, however. Said problems being their old habits.
See back when Wukong and Macaque were still together they had these… routines for lack of a better word. One of said routines was making sure they kissed at sunset, no exceptions. This had led to… a bit of property damage… sometimes a lot…
Or: Five times these idiots kissed at sunset, plus one time Mei and MK finally figured out what was going on.

Summary
Macaque hit the ground running.
He tore through the woods at a pace many could not phathom of achieving. His boots were long discarded, favoring his bare feet for more balance.
His lungs burned and he had to push down bile as it crawled up from his throat, his right ankle burned with a stabbing pain. Maybe jumping off a 20 foot cliff was a bad idea, now that he thinks about it. Also ripping said ankle from ice was probably not doing him any favors. He can hear the cackling laughter of her and her thrall she sent after him. Her lapdog cooing sweetly at this not so new game of cat and mouse. The weight in the sling he made from his beloved scarf was a firm reminder of what he had to lose. What he couldn’t lose.
He had to keep moving.
Or:
Macaque runs away from LBD and ends up with MK and his group, attempting to keep his secrets, well, secrets, proves to be difficult. As well as slowly starting to trust these wannabe heroes.
