“You don’t even know his favourite flower,” Yuko says, the statement shaped more like an insult than an actual question.
Denji’s silence basically confirms it.
He runs a hand through his hair, annoyed at himself and at the situation. Why would he know Yoshida’s favourite flower? That’s not something people regularly announce. Yoshida has never stood in front of a display and said I like these best. They pass pretty flower stalls at time and Yoshida never slows down.
Denji realises with much guilt, hours before Valentine’s Day, that he doesn’t actually know what his boyfriend likes when it comes to romantic gifts.
