Summary
His wings pumped once, and his feet were off the ground; twice, then he was properly in the air, angling his body into the wind and readjusting himself for balance. The wind was disturbed, and thick with dust and ash. It made Choso's eyes sting and his throat burn, flying into it, but neither adding more pain to the amount he was already in nor making him cough raggedly would have him falter in his flight. He had found one solid thought in the present torrent of his thoughts, and he now clung to it. It had pulled him out of his tormented reverie, and he intended to follow the idea like a dog.
In the held breath between acts of violence at a great battle, Choso searches for the last brother he has left.

Summary
Megumi's mouth opens, then shuts. He doesn't respond immediately. Instead, he looks Yuji over— every broad and leathery scar, all the smaller lines of marred pink skin; how his nose sits crookedly now in a way it hadn't seven months ago; the way his smile puts little dips into his cheeks; the glittering of his eyes; how his face and ears have gotten red from the cold. Megumi is keenly aware of his heart beating heavily in his chest, of his blood moving with every pulse.
Megumi and Yuji talk and expel some thoughts on guilt.

Amidst his reflection came words more final. "Good night, Satoru Gojo." Hadn't those words been a comfort in Suguru's voice, once? Satoru shook his head and leveled his expression, screwed up into a scowl, on the vessel in front of him. "Let us meet again in the new world."
The second of various scenes I'll be adapting from JJK! This moment is Gojo's sealing.

Summary
Already, with his pudgy face and dark shining eyes and gummy, open-mouthed smile, Yuji looked at him like he was the world. Perhaps because his world was very small, still; but that was okay. Choso was okay with being a small world, if that meant he was apart of Yuji's. Quite fiercely, he thought there was nothing else he would rather be.
A series of one-shots exploring a brother's love and devotion.

Summary
"You little brat," Sukuna's voice rang in his head. Something he'd said in the moment of exchange, lost as Yuji drank in the destruction around him but now resurfacing. Or repeating. It was hard to tell whether it was just his recollection or if Sukuna was chattering at him again, mocking him more. "Be sure to savor this feeling forever."
The first part in my efforts to adapt various moments in JJK to the written word. This work will follow Yuji during the back half of the Shibuya Incident.
