Looking over was a mistake, mossy eyes immediately locked onto bronze ones, the air was tense between them, nobody else had noticed it but them. It felt as if a force was pulling them together, gravity seemed to be working on getting them closer, but he refused.
Clay looked away, afraid if he looked back again, he would be sucked into his gaze again, forever in a war for seeking the truth in both their eyes. He let his eyes roam—he shouldn't have done that, but he couldn't help it. The brunet was wearing casual clothes, a hoodie and jeans, they seemed to fit him but Clay hated it, how it looked on him.
The force of gravity pulled his eyes up to meet with George's.
They locked once more and this time, they stayed locked, even if it was for a few seconds more. The shorter brunet's gaze burned into the blonde, making his breath hitch, who does he think he is? Looking at him as if this didn't affect him.--------------
Why was he here? Why did he let himself get dragged here? He could just turn around and make up an excuse to not go, but here he was, in front of the amethyst and titian hues. Fate really did play him like a marionette doll.
