Summary
Joel and Ellie are attacked by hunters and crash in Pittsburgh, left frantically fighting for survival, not sure which direction to turn. As they attempt to sneak past their pursuers they hear whispers of a woman quietly stalking and dismembering their group, fueled by violent grief after her caravan is murdered. Although Joel tries to feign confidence for Ellie's sake he is left helpless with no idea what direction to turn. He has no choice but to acquiesce when you reluctantly offer you know the way out.
Joel and Ellie run into the young woman who was left behind after her group was killed by hunters in Pittsburgh. First chapter focuses on Ellie and Joel in the 3rd person, rest are FMC's perspective. Slight age gap (in my mind palace I imagine Joel is ~45, FMC is ~30).- Language:
