Summary
Lumine’s first semester at Teyvat University meant new beginnings. Gone were her ghosts of the past, and in their place, an abundance of new friends, new opportunities, and a wonderful roommate that she could bond with.
Well, that’s what she hoped for, at least. But that fairytale came crashing down before she could even say “Hello, my name is Lumine!”
Because the cold amethyst sneer on her new roommate’s face told the entire story.
“Scara,” he introduced himself in a passive grumble. “Stay out of my way.”

Summary
After patching her team up a thousand times, Sage has learned to follow protocol above all else. It gets them home safe, keeps her heart safe.
She follows protocol because the way Omen makes her feel eclipses everything she’s ever believed in.
Then he breaks it.
[July 2026: I’m rewriting the first few chapters before proceeding to make sure characterization is consistent! I started this fic too long ago and some of my ideas have changed especially with new Sage lore. If you like ch 1,2,3 as they are then please save them because I will replace them. The plot won’t change though. After that, I’ll work on new chapters]
