“You’re too easy, Eddie.” Buck shakes his head with a smile, slipping out of his hold and offering his hand, warm and welcoming. “C’mon, I’m making you dinner.”
Eddie slips his hand into Buck’s, his palm warm and safe. “Then what?”
“Then, I thought we could get some use out of the hot tub.”
Eddie could melt already at the idea of warm, bubbly water surrounding his stiff and tired limbs. Of course, Buck would know exactly what he needs. It’s like he was factory-made just for Eddie. Like if he turned him upside down, "Eddie" would be etched in the sole of his New Balance sneakers.
Or, Eddie doesn't think he could love Buck more, until there's more of Buck to love.

Summary
Buck’s started tossing and turning thinking about the tattooist's line work—the skilled areas of saturation. Dreams about its elegance and the way the angles of the drawn-on bone move and contort with Eddie's skin whenever he reaches on tiptoes for the Ring Pops hidden in Buck's highest cupboard.
At first, he had mistaken the dreams for envy, had figured he just wanted a tattoo that matched.
Once Buck traversed into REM sleep and had begun jolting awake, rock hard, after dreams of tracing the boundaries of Eddie's tattoo with the tip of his tongue, he knew he was a goner. No sane, rational person counts down the seconds until their best friend drops something on the off chance that they'll bend over to retrieve it.

Summary
“Dude, we’re like forty-five minutes out,” Buck says. “Just hold it.”
“Not happening,” Eddie states definitively. He jerks his chin up towards the exit ramp. “Pull over.”
There’s a beat of hesitation, which Eddie would have noticed if he’d been looking at Buck, but he’s still staring out the passenger side window with his head propped against his fist when Buck’s truck makes the executive decision to plow straight past it. Eddie lifts his head up with an affronted cry, watching it blur past and then turning to Buck with a gaping mouth.

Summary
“Turn,” Eddie says. Buck follows instruction, turning and sitting in between her legs, stretching her own in front of her. Eddie places her head on her shoulder, running her hands carefully up Buck’s stomach, feeling it tense beneath through the thin fabric. “I just can’t help it. I want you all of the time.”
She rests her hand, dreading this positioning already and wishing she could be leaving kisses on her plush stomach, taking bites of the skin, dipping her tongue into her belly button. Need surges through her body, feeling damn near uncontrollable now, she needs to speed this up and feel Buck come apart by her hand.
“Tonight, you’re mine. You know that?” Sitting here now, she wishes she had said it earlier, eye-to-eye to watch the blue as it gets swallowed away as the words hit her.
“I'm always yours,” Buck breathes, so simple but so sure. The words play on a constant loop in her ear, settling the need in her bones and nourishing that feeling she has. She hums quietly, pushing golden locks over Buck’s shoulder.
“Yeah,” Eddie says slowly, placing a gentle kiss on her shoulder. “You are.”
or Buck is Eddie's, for the night and forever.
