Summary
The earth outside looked sick. Scarred, blemished with vine growths that pulsed faintly. “…what,” Billy whispered.
Harrington was standing a few feet away, bat clenched loosely in his hand, shoulders slumped as if something vital had been ripped out of him. His face was pale, eyes wide and unfocused, mouth slightly open.
He looked destroyed. Like someone who had just watched their worst memory crawl back out of the grave.
Billy took an involuntary step toward him. “Harrington?” The Alpha didn’t respond at first. His gaze was fixed on the windows, on the blue-lit wasteland beyond, his breathing shallow and uneven.
“No,” Harrington said finally, voice hoarse. “No, no, no…”
He dragged a hand down his face, staining it further with grime. His scent had shifted completely now—sharp panic undercut by something older, painful. “This isn’t—” He swallowed hard. “This can’t…”
Billy’s chest tightened. “What…?” he asked again, barely audible. Harrington looked at him then, really looked. And whatever he saw on Billy’s face—fear, fury, raw survival—it made his expression crumple.
OR: Billy is secretly an Omega AU, Harringrove Stuck in the Upsidedown.

Summary
Steve Harrington thinks he might be dead. He stares at the complexion of the boy in the mirror and thinks that maybe he didn't make it out of the upside down after all. The For list is certainly longer than the Against list. The idea doesn't seem so unlikely after everything he's seen these last few years. Adds himself to the pile of bodies that has been steadily growing in his periphery. A fly lands on the mirror and he thinks of the moniker that got thrown around the middle school before it was tossed around the high school. Little Will Byers. Zombie boy. Says it aloud to the fly.
"Zombie Boy."
The words sit too comfortably on his tongue to be anything but true. Steve Harrington is dead and he is so incredibly fucked.

Summary
Steve Harrington was predictable. He was popular, rich, and people liked him, but that made him boring. He knew, just like everyone else knew, exactly what the rest of his life would look like. He’d graduate, go to some business school, get a job at his Dad’s company (where he would some day take over), settle down with a nice girl, get married, have two and a half kids and a dog, and he’d never amount to anything. This is a tale that has been told over and over again. This is a very old tale.
This is not the correct tale.
Upside Down Detected, Game Mode Unlocked!
Steve's life has suddenly become an RPG. Oh, joy.

Billy never really got over the night he beat Steve Harrington’s face in. When he winds up with a bloodied Steve in the back of his car, he thinks he may finally get some answers, but it turns out there are just more questions—some of them quite unexpected.

Summary
In which fighting a pack of interdimensional monsters was the easy part, and now Billy has to figure out how to come to terms with his new normal.
Post Season 2 AU. Pre Season 3.
I'd recommend reading part 1 (Inside Out) before jumping into this one.
"Wondering when the hell he’d become such a fucking pushover, Billy reluctantly reached up and took hold of Steve’s offered hands, locking a startled yelp in his throat when the senior misjudged his own strength – or how much Billy weighed – and used way too much force to yank him to his feet. They collided with a chorus of grunts and curses, treading on each other’s feet and briefly sharing the same air.”
