Alright, sit down, sickfic lovers, cuz you are getting FED.
I know I technically have a more interesting fic I could be writing, but for some reason (entirely unrelated to how often I've gotten sick this year ), all my brain wants to do is write sickfics, and who am I to fight that?Anyway, Caitlyn gets sick with a lower respiratory infection, and Vi takes care of her. That's it. That's the fic. Just like 5,000 words of pure fluff. Maybe one day I'll actually write more of my Princess Diaries fic, but then again, I might also stop getting sick every few months one day.

__In Part II, Caitlyn wakes up with her first hangover, and Vi is a little too eager to nurse her through it.

Summary
After ten years in Stillwater for a crime she didn't commit, Vi breaks herself out and goes home. Her homecoming doesn't go like she thought it would.
Two years later, she's out of control and out on the streets. She's now a champion pitfighter, a raging alcoholic, and completely on her own. Despite her family's best (and desperate) efforts to help, Vi's on a one-way track to ending up either dead or back in prison.
At the same time, Caitlyn arrives in the undercity to collect data and information for her thesis. She starts her research from a local bar called The Last Drop, which puts her right into Vi's path. Vi might have been out of her family's home for years, but she's still not going to let a topsider put them in danger.
Canon divergence (everyone lives!), enemies to lovers (barely, the lovers aspect happens fast), angst, trauma, addiction, and also fluff and humour (because these things can co-exist!)
