O'saa prefers to do everything alone, he doesn't need to rely on anyone else.
He certainly doesn't need anyone relying on him. These allies are temporary- simply an advantage to have- there are no attachments there.
He ignores what that old wretched wizard insults him with, he disregards how the other contestants whisper, and he couldn't care less about that posh fraud of a doctor.
