Summary
Percy didn't care that their hunger, thirst and shelterlessness had been taken care for by Vax's decision to sleep with a group of mercenaries who jokingly offered him coin for a fuck, instead of a fight.
He kept picturing it, not just out of concern as time passed with no sight of Vax or the mercenaries, only the addition of more coin to the purse... he was jealous. His hunger and fatigue caught up with him and he satiated the needs, then focused on the wants.
Everybody wanted somwthing, he wanted Vax, and he was insistent on getting him out of the mess he had made. When he did, he found Vax in need of care: a bath, a meal and a bed. And some comfort.
