After being rescued from Vee Tower, Alastor locked himself away in his room at the hotel. And so began Lucifer’s new ritual, desperate for Alastor to know there was someone on the other side of that cold bedroom door. Every day he spoke through the wood, and every day he received no answer. But Lucifer could wait. He would spend days talking to an empty hallway. Weeks memorizing the touch of a door that never opened pressed against his back. Months watching shadows shaped like the two of them play along the walls, keeping each other company in the absence of Alastor.

“What—what are you doing—?” Lucifer stammered, a mix of panic and anticipation in his voice. With an impish glint in his eye, Alastor sank to his knees, coaxing those plush thighs apart before settling in the space between. Lucifer’s brows knitted in confusion, eyes widening as Alastor’s hands found his belt, slowly undoing it.
“You’re always so tense,” Alastor purred, voice as smooth as velvet and edged with something far more dangerous. “Let me be of some humble assistance.”
Or,
Alastor presses close, leaving Lucifer with no means of escape. The former archangel and ruler of damnation tenses as the air between them sparks with something dangerously physical.
