Summary
In Robby’s mind, it all starts innocently; innocently enough.
He would like to think about it as… concern from a mentor.
Nothing else.
It's very selfless that and commmendable, the fact that Robby creates a throw-away instagram account to keep tabs on his residents' lives while on sabbatical.
He doesn’t address to himself that the only person he follows with this account, is Dennis Whitaker.
-
Or; Robby doing anything (stalking Dennis on instagram through a weird, empty account) except actually calling Dennis. -

Summary
The thing Robby muttered when he pulled Jack by the hand towards his chest and clapped the back of his shoulder was “take care of Dennis, brother.”
‘Take care of Dennis’
It could mean anything.
Jack tries, he really tries his best to make it mean nothing.
Because, if Jack is honest with himself, he wants ‘take care of Dennis’ to mean something else entirely.
-
Or: Robby tells Jack to "take care of Dennis" while he's gone and Jack hears "yeh fuck him in my bed".Series

Summary
Michael had his fair share of moments where he purposefully made Dennis jealous, what if the roles we're reversed?
Michael doesn’t like it, doesn’t like the way it feels, but he can’t stop himself from feeling it. Dennis looks at him, his blue eyes almost cold and calculating, hands shoved in the pockets of his jeans as he leans back on the wall, teasing smile on that pretty mouth of his, and Michael feels the blinding heat of his anger build and build.
He steps closer to Dennis, leaning down just enough to get his face on the same height as Dennis’, “I’m gonna kill him and then you,” he mutters “just you wait, Whitaker.”
Dennis snorts again, “oh, you look so serious, baby.”-
Alternative Universe where Dennis Whitaker and Michael Robinavitch are the same age, can be read as a standalone.

Summary
The box looks out of place.
Maybe it belongs somewhere else.
Dennis picks it up, inside there are two faux-leather brown journals.
Dennis just looks at them for a moment before picking one up, they’re pretty.
Before thinking about it, he opens it, and the chicken scratch handwriting that he has associated with Robby welcomes him on the first page.
September 26th, 2025.
I haven’t hand-written anything that isn’t a prescription or residence reports in a long time-
Dennis snaps it close.
Those are Robby’s journals. Personal journals.
Those are Robby’s diaries.

Summary
Dennis is immediately distracted from his task choosing from the vending machine. Tilting his head down, he bounces her slightly on his hip, swaying from one side to the other. His mouth is moving, though Robby can’t hear what he’s saying from here. His cheeks are a little flushed, too.
“Do I need to remind you two that you’re professionals?” Dana comments from behind them. Robby mildly snaps out of it— well, enough to turn and see Jack beside him doing just as he’s doing: staring openly at Dennis with the tiny child. “He’s just holding a baby. And besides, you shouldn’t be ogling one of your students.”
“He’s not a student anymore,” Robby corrects her at the same time Jack protests, “We’re dating him.”
“You shouldn’t be ogling anyone, I don’t care what your excuses are.”
or: Jack and Robby witness Dennis caring for a clingy child and start thinking thoughts.

Summary
“Why are you asking me how she’s doing?” Faith places her steak knife down on the scalloped edge of the plate. A few months ago, a serrated knife in Faith MacCaullay’s hand would have made him nervous. Now, at least, he’s fairly certain she wouldn’t stab him in public. “You have cameras all over the resort. You have her credit card statements. You pay for her body guard, you pay for her driver, you pay for her doctors, she lives in your house.”
One of six. It hardly counts.
“Sure. But I don’t speak to her.” Titus takes a sip of his wine. He hadn’t ordered the bottle strictly due to its price; that’s Faith’s modus operandi. He simply has taste. “You do.”

When Grace collapses at the altar due to catastrophic blood loss, Titus Danforth gets to survive his own wedding. A year out from the ceremony in the Black Temple, they're still finding new ways to put the fun in dysfunctional.

Summary
"You wanted power more than you wanted me dead. Don't rewrite history."
"I wanted power, and I wanted you." He grins. It's an easy, ugly grin, and she can see every one of his teeth. This is the man who held the gun against her sister’s temple. This is the man who pulled the pillow off his father’s face and went on with his day. "And I got both."
"You got a signet ring and a wife who can't stand you."
"And yet here you are."
"And yet here I am." She sets her mug down. "And here you are. In the kitchen at seven-thirty in the morning, pretending to scroll through your phone, because I kissed you the other night and you can't stop thinking about it."
