Nothing in his short miserable life had gone right. Sure he had good things- camp, his mom and Paul, Annabeth- but nothing had really gone right, or like it should have compared to others his age. He wasn’t even supposed to exist. He didn’t really trust Reyna and he certainly didn’t trust the fates. He wished the universe would just leave him alone.
