    “I’m the one who’s hurt! And not because of the Foot, or weird aliens, or a mutant warthog and rhino. It wasn’t because of anything that had to do with you guys. It didn’t happen to you, Leo, it didn’t happen to Raph, Donnie, Mikey, or even Splinter. It was me,” April’s voice cracked and she shut her eyes as unbidden tears began to stream down her face. She hadn’t meant for this to be such a mess, it was her own fault and the guys shouldn’t have to be dealing with her like this. “It wasn’t one of you. So why does it matter so much?”

    “That’s where you’re wrong,” Leo replied quietly. “It was one of us. You are one of us.”

    April gets followed by some guys and they attack her. Attempt of SA but she fights back and gets injured. Does she tell the turtles? Of course not! She’s April O’Neil. She can handle this by herself without the guys finding out anytime soon…right?
