David Ilyanovich Hollander, or Dave so as not to confuse him with his grandfather — Grampy, was born on July 6, 2022, a sunny day in Ottawa via surrogacy. He was born with soft brown eyes, jet black hair and porcelain looking skin to Ilya’s delight. He started walking at 1 year old, and his first word at two years old was Pah-pa which he called his Russian father. To his parents, he was perfect and to his grandparents, he was an angel. There was just one thing Dave couldn’t get right – the name of his Daddy Shane.
