    Summary

Have you ever heard what happens when you break an oath on the River Styx?

In the old myths, when a god swore on the Styx, and went back on their promise, they would be cursed to be unable to eat or drink for ten years. (And what do the gods eat?)

Have you put two and two together yet?

Percy Jackson is not a god. But he has a thousand battles under his belt, and the ocean under his skin, and god-blood in his veins. No, Percy Jackson is not a god.

But he is as close to a god as one can be and still die.

And so when he puts the ambrosia in his mouth and hopes for a miracle, all he can taste is a curse.

    -OR-

Percy is dying, and there's nothing anyone can do. So, he figures he might as well make one last phone call.

    Summary

    Stupid nightmares.
It had been bad that night; Akhlys screaming in agony, Annabeth crying out for me to stop, only to crumple to the floor as blood spilled from her lips, blood that I was somehow controlling. Alone, I was so utterly, terrifyingly alone. I fought the urge to cry, to scream, to tear down the walls of my cabin until someone, anyone saw me, heard me, wrapped me up in their arms, reminded me that everything would be okay.
I didn’t deserve that. Perseus Jackson, Hero of Olympus, but most importantly, murderer of dozens of innocents, didn’t deserve comfort. He didn’t deserve peace. I didn’t deserve anything.

    OR

Percy Jackson can lie all he wants. When it comes down to it, he's not okay.
After the second war he's been through, Percy struggles to adjust to his new life, a life where guilt is the only thing he truly knows. What happens when he ignores his own pain and tries to return to normal life?
    (Basically Percy's depression on steroids)
