    Once I’m within range, I start hearing those sounds Rocky was talking about, little groans and hitches of breath. He’s trying to keep himself quiet, I can tell, another bad habit of his.

    Wait, there’s something else, too, a sort of faint squelching? Well, he’s either very vigorously washing his hand - but, no, I don’t hear the water running - or he’s-

    Suddenly, I hear what is very clearly a moan from the other side of the door, even if muffled.

    Oh.

    Oh my god.

     

    Or when Rocky hears Simon making some concerning sounds in the Hail Mary’s bathroom, he sends Grace to go check on him, and the man is met with quite the surprise.

    To be honest, Grace did have his doubts about him.

    When the new human first woke up, he punched Grace in the face and tried to run away. He didn’t speak for his first three days of being conscious. Not the best first impression.

    Rocky, in the meantime, had one job. He was specifically tasked with building this new human a place to stay. Grace hadn’t made time for blueprints, too busy fumbling the situation that was his first real human in over fifteen years.

    Grace didn’t realize ‘please build the new human a place to stay’ would be translated into ‘expand my home! the human will be living with me!’
