Summary
Newly widowed King Viserys I, with only a young beta daughter to his name, fears for the future of the dwindling House of the Dragon. In order to secure the succession, he calls upon all the great lords of Westeros to finally bend the knee to his younger alpha brother, the Rogue Prince Daemon, as the official Heir to the Iron Throne.
Less than a moon later, young Princess Rhaenyra presents as an alpha.
And so the dance begins.

Summary
“If it is forgiveness you seek for killing my father, you will not find it here,” Alicent says over a scoff, over a nasty sound.
Her daughter sleeps behind her in a cot thin as parchment. Her father’s blood seems still beneath her nails though she has not touched him. The city outside groans under its new queen, Aegon has fled, Aemond has taken Harrenhal, and yet Rhaenyra stands in her stripped room, crownless and terrible, asking for judgment as though Alicent has any right to give it.
Perhaps she does; and perhaps that is the final cruelty.
tldr: the one where they slowly reshape the future of Rhaenyra’s reign, mend what has been broken, and rebuild their own family from the ruins. the slowest of burns, really.

Summary
In Gwayne Hightower's defence, he had good intentions.
In Alicent Hightower's defence, she had very limited information.
In Rhaenyra Targaryen's defence, she has never in her life been so insulted, and she once sat through a four hour board meeting about paper clips.
Nobody comes out of this looking particularly good. Except Gwayne, who has decided he's a genius and cannot be talked out of it.

Summary
Rhaenyra has had just about enough of her cousin Laena setting her up on blind dates with her friends.
The latest of them, a date with one of Laena’s University friends Alicent, certainly won’t be any different to the others.
Will it?
