Summary
He had to at least give it a shot. If there was a power that would let both him and Brett could stay this week, it was worth a try. Winston was a salesman, after all. But Sam's not the easiest customer to sell to, and it'll take a lot more than shiny words to win her over.
Takes place on the night of the Week 3 eviction, if Winston did end up confronting Sam about her power like he wanted to.
Winston/Sam friendship, with a bit of implied Winston/Brett (at least one-way)

Summary
Running to the frontlines from a childhood he never had. Taking a bat to the wall with his son in the next room. Having an affair with the spitting image of his dead wife.
Eddie knows he’s never been good at grieving, knows he’s never been good at losing what little he allows for himself in the first place. This is why he also knows his coping mechanisms can’t possibly get any worse.
Buck, as he so often does, makes him reevaluate his assumptions.

Summary
“I think I know a secret,” Theo says, voice now softened to a whisper.
“Oh, you do?” Theo beckons him forward, so Chris makes a big show of leaning towards him.
“Buck and Eddie make each other happy,” Theo whispers. “They’re married.”
-----
Buck and Eddie are not married. They really should be, though. Chris and Theo help with that.

Summary
“I might regret asking this but…” Ian trails off, hesitating until Eddie nudges him, urging him to continue. “Buck,” he says, simply.
Eddie frowns. He doesn’t remember Buck doing anything particularly weird or notable. Hell, he doesn’t even recall him and Ian talking that much. Is that weird? Is Ian worried that he didn’t get the best friend stamp of approval, or something? “What about him? I mean, he can be a little much sometimes, but he mellows out—”
Ian shakes his head. “No. I’m talking about: Buck, your very handsome and very involved best friend, who is also queer...” He trails off again, as if he’s waiting for Eddie to fill in the blank. When he doesn’t, Ian finally says: “Do I have anything to worry about there?”

Summary
Alright, now to prove he’s right.
Finger on the cursor, Buck types an a to start.
Google, in all its autocomplete glory, gives Buck some options. Four suggestions stack top to bottom in whatever order Google decides matters most on any given evening, and the four that come up under Buck's single letter are, in order:
am i gay quiz (visited 2 days ago)
Amazon (visited 5 days ago)
american airlines
ammonia bleach mix
Buck stops chewing the inside of his cheek — which, honestly, he didn’t even realize he was doing.
That’s — huh.
That’s not what he was expecting at all.
Or,
Buck uses Eddie's laptop and sees something he isn't supposed to see. He reacts accordingly.Bookmarked by closing_time

Summary
“You shouldn’t be here, either. He’s an asshole, he’s not even—”
“Why do you care?" Buck interrupts him, raising his tone, “It’s not like I’m gonna marry him!”
“I sure hope not!” Eddie replies loudly, offended, then, thinks to himself, you’re gonna marry me.
(Or, Buck decides to date again. Unsurprisingly, Eddie crashes out and sort of steals someone’s identity in the process. It goes better than expected… Truly.)
