There's only three constants when it comes to Jinx:
1. She never leaves anything behind.
2. She never visits two nights in a row.
3. She never stays into the morning.Ekko was used to this. Fine with it. If it meant that at least some nights he could hold her, know she was fine, he could deal with it. Even if he wanted more. So much more.
But when Jinx starts breaking each rule, one by one, Ekko realizes that what they have is not enough. But he's too much of a coward to ask for more. And it's ruining his life.

Jinx grinned devilishly, her chest fluttering. Something about his rage was exciting to her, almost arousing. She watched as he stood, blood dripping from his face, his muscles rippling as he faced her. She bit her lip, eyeing him hungrily.
“There’s the Ekko I know,” she purred at him. “Bring it, little man.”
Set between seasons 1 and 2, Jinx has gone into hiding to become Zaun’s greatest pit fighter, her winning streak finally challenged by a ghost from her past.
