Mycroft Holmes is the first and second owner of the café and Sherlock's older brother. Victor Trevor is the café waiter who worked shortly after John Watson became the barista. Greg Lestrade is another barista who is a close friend of John's at work. Mike Stamford is John's close friend who always comes to the café for WFC (Work from Café). Irene Adler is the daughter of a famous actress who often comes because she is interested in Sherlock and likes to tease him with her beauty. Mary Morstan, who was attracted to John, also came often and annoyed Sherlock a little. There is some romance and drama in the life of the café.

Once, I had grieved him for three long years, and other times I had feared him lost for thankfully much shorter periods. The life of a consulting detective was a perilous one, no matter how much we enjoyed pursuing cases together.

Sherlock had. He remembered his vow to John and Mary. He was Rosie’s godfather. Sherlock sat down and tried to calm his racing thoughts.
“What exactly did John tell you interview was about?” Sherlock pressed his palms together.
“It had to do with something he posted online. Back when he still was working as a doctor.”
“Was it about medicine or something else?” Sherlock asked.
“I think it had to be a story – a detective story? I mean, that is what he is most interested in.”John walked out of Sherlock's life years ago. Left and never spoke again to his friend. Now a sixteen-year-old Rosie appears at his door looking for her father.
