He turns the TV off and, after a bit of hesitation, lays down. He makes sure to stay on top of the duvet. The bed is plenty big, but he doesn't want to make Steve uncomfortable. That's the last thing he needs to do.
Steve jabs him in the arm.
"Ow, what?"
"Get under the covers. Dumbass." As if to punctuate the instructions, he tugs them up and throws them over Eddie haphazardly.
Fuck.

Or: They rescue Eddie from the Upside Down, but he needs to stay with Steve until he's no longer severely injured and a murder suspect. He's got a stupid crush, but Steve absolutely, definitely, 100% does not feel the same way. (Right?)
