The fic in that all I wanted was to create a scene of college student!Snape dancing in his room in a black turtleneck and trousers. But then I had to create an entire story to fit the scene or it wouldn't make as much sense. Summary

Summary
He wanted to live.
As he journeys through time, Severus Snape realizes he may have bitten off more than he can chew when he made a deal with death. But as he sees faces of those long gone, he remembers the reason he chose to go back in the first place. However, death has rules for their arrangement.
1. As soon as you enter this universe, you cannot leave. You have been ripped from one and thrust into another, and there is no turning back.
2. Whatever makes this universe different from the first is entirely up to you. Other than the choices you make, it is a complete copy, and things will turn out exactly as they had prior to your reversal.
3. Finally, the one catch of the deal. As long as you are in your own universe, your fate can never change. Do not run from it. Do not try to change it. No matter what you do, the ending will always turn out the same.
However, it seems that deals with death are never that simple, and Severus Snape is going to learn the hard way that what seems too good to be true, probably is.

A potions accident sends a discontent and bitter Severus Snape back in time to his childhood years before Hogwarts. Seeing an opportunity to alter the future for the better, Severus' actions bring about more changes than he's even aware of. A lot can happen to a young wizard in seven years, especially at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.No romantic relationships until the characters are older. The final pairing is currently undecided. This story will involve both homosexual and heterosexual relationships - don't like then don't read.
