Ever since he was old enough to hold a pair of scissors, Bill has been engrossed with making his costumes. Every year, he painstakingly cut, drew, and sewed until whatever he was working on was perfect. Now, as adults, the two don’t go trick-or-treating anymore, instead content to laze around the house and eat buttloads of candy until they can’t move. That means Bill hasn’t made a costume in at least two years, and his skills have gotten rusty. The thought didn’t even cross his mind until that family moved into the two-bedroom across the hall.
