So of course, naturally, Daeyoung has occasionally wondered if the intimacy between them extends to something else privately. That’s a normal thing to think about, right? It’s probably also normal that the thought makes his stomach tingle a little bit. He’s accepted his silly little crush on Yushi, accepted that anyone in his position wouldn’t be able to help feeling a bit jealous of Sion, wouldn’t be able to help wondering the same things. It’s normal.

I bet the company just didn’t want to deal with it. They wanted you with Yushi, and he gave them a reason to pretend all this secondary gender shit doesn’t even matter.”
They wanted you with Yushi. Sion has no response to that, so he drinks.

“No,” Sohee chuckles like he’s telling himself a joke. He leans in even closer, but doesn’t adjust his volume. “Like a hybrid.”

At some point he must have dozed off. He’s groggy when he opens his eyes, face buried in Eunseok’s sweatshirt, curled up as close as their seats allow. Eunseok’s hand is on his ass, and when he feels Wonbin stirring, he squeezes.
“Sleep well?” He asks, and Wonbin hears it in his voice – the fake sweetness, the chastising. He’s dropped straight into a scene. Wonbin is very awake now, mind racing trying to figure out what triggered this. Normally, he would do something on purpose for exactly this outcome. But they’re practically in public, and even though Wonbin often fantasizes about Eunseok destroying him in front of an audience, he’s never had the guts to intentionally orchestrate it.

Or, Wonbin tests Eunseok's patience, Eunseok tests Wonbin's limits. It's a perfect arrangement.

Shifting in tiny, sleepy motions, Sion turned his head to bury his nose against Riku’s bare hip. “Smell good,” he muttered. “S’not like you, though.”
Riku paused. “Was that offensive? Are you saying I usually stink?”
“I’m saying you smell like Jaehee.”
“Oh. I wear his sweatshirt sometimes.”
“M’aware.” Then Sion laid his head back down and fell asleep again.
Riku wondered what exactly he was supposed to take away from that. He elected not to think about it.
Jaehee starts courting Riku. Neither of them realizes this and no one finds it pertinent to tell them.

Daeyoung turns to look at the three of them, all of them expectantly looking at Daeyoung for a justification. Daeyoung whimpers, looking at them pitifully. “I thought you guys are just really into rainbows.”
Or, Daeyoung joins a run club to get his life together. Few problems. Number one, it's a gay run club. Number two, Daeyoung is straight. Number three, there's a guy in there that's too pretty for his own good.
