But when word spreads that Vander is dead and Silco seized the lanes, Cadia comes back to the very place that started all the hurt: The Undercity. She steps up and becomes the protector she should've been to her nieces years ago. It's supposed to be a fresh start until the past catches up to her. Cadia finds herself reunited with her old friend Silco. Together they hunt a killer who feels all too familiar.
If Cadia can’t stop the past from resurfacing, she may lose everything she ran from- but most importantly, everything she came back to save.
