Once the room clears, Nick takes a deep breath. “So, half-term. How have your exams been going?”
“Can I suck you off?”
Charlie is patient as Nick does a double-take at his request, staggering back and knocking over a bottle of tequila. He sips his vodka lemonade and waits.
“What, er—now?!” Nick splutters.
“Why not?” He’s emboldened now. This loop is quickly becoming hell on earth, but maybe it doesn’t have to be, not all the time. There are no consequences for him in the loop. Anything he does is forgotten the next day. Nick could scream at him, punch him in the nose, do whatever he wants—tomorrow, he’ll still be here, serving him a vodka lemonade with a shy smile. What has he got to lose?

“Comfy?” Mike asked after Will stopped moving.
“Mm.” Will replied.
Will felt Mike move slightly behind him. They still weren’t touching, but he could feel Mike’s breath brush against the back of his neck.
“Do you want me to hold you?”
“Yes, please,” Will whispered.
Slowly, so as not to startle him, Mike moved closer until his legs touched and then tangled with Will’s. The warmth pressing at Will’s back intensified before he felt the solid press of Mike’s chest make contact. One of Mike’s arms circled around Will’s waist and pulled him backwards slightly until he was firmly in Mike’s embrace.
“Thanks, Mike.”
“Don’t need to thank,” Mike said sleepily. “Just doing my job.”
Will chuckled. “Your job? And what is that?”
“Taking care of you,” Mike said, like it was obvious.After a day where everything seemed to go wrong, Will returns home exhausted, overwhelmed, and in desperate need of comfort. Thankfully, Mike has always known exactly how to take care of him — but as the night wears on, years of unspoken feelings finally come to light, proving that sometimes even the worst days can lead to something wonderful.

Summary
Mike Wheeler wrote a fantasy saga where the hero's sword is cursed, rotting away whenever he's late. He hates touring, he hates Hollywood, he hates silence, until, during a tour in New York, a stray puppy that smelled just like Will gives him a purpose again. A clue.
Will, on the other hand, learned that promising is the most dangerous thing in the world. He promised to stay, but when the test was positive, he packed everything and vanished into the night. He spent the next five years raising an asthmatic boy who was the spitting image of Mike Wheeler. He never told him.
And he never would.
Or: the classic trope, ‘the omega finds out he's pregnant after a one night stand and runs away. Years later, the alpha finds them… and the little kid that’s an exact mini replica of them ’, with byler!
