Madara suddenly stopped, freezing in place. His eyes went wide, and his skin seemed to lose more color than was healthy in a short amount of time.
Sasuke looked back at the Uchiha, still seeming unimpressed, but now a bit wary as the hand on his shoulder tightened and stayed that way. “My name is Uchiha Sasuke,” he said simply. “I was told to come to Konoha because my father would be here. His name is Uchiha Izuna.”
Or: Four years after the founding of Konoha and Izuna's death, a boy claiming to be his son appears at the gates.

Then Tobirama grabbed the pen by Madara’s hand and scribbled a perfect copy of Hashirama’s signature onto the budget proposal. When Madara raised his eyebrows, Tobirama smiled brighter. Like this, he didn't look so innocent anymore. He looked indecent. Like a brat.
That day was the first time Madara had truly laid his eyes upon Tobirama as a person rather than just an extension of Hashirama.
He was undeniably intrigued. There were many questions he still had, and only Tobirama held the answers. Whether he could coax those answers out softly or needed to pry them from Tobirama’s struggling body, it didn’t matter. Madara was bored and curious.
