Kenma’s weird behavior stuck with him all night. It itched at his bones, like something was wrong and he needed to fix it, which was ridiculous, because Kenma didn't need his help to fix anything, even if Tetsurou sometimes really wanted him to.
If he didn’t know any better, he almost would have thought Kenma was presenting. But that was absurd. It had been over a year since he was expected to. Kenma was a beta.

“He just got asked out again and he keeps giving the excuse that he’s in a relationship.” Bokuto said as the three of them entered the locker room and started changing. Oikawa and the others were already there, greeting them and finishing getting ready. Kuroo dropped his backpack on the locker, and the chocolate box next to it.
“It’s not an excuse, that’s what I’m trying to say, why don’t you listen to me?” Kuroo frowned while he put his volleyball shirt over his head. He turned around to face them, and Akaashi already looked like he’s tired of the conversation.
“Ah yes, his imaginary boyfriend again. Aren’t we done with this conversation?” Akaashi rolled his eyes and got up. Oikawa laughed loudly next to him.
“He’s not- Hey, stop laughing.” Kuroo threw his used shirt in Oikawa’s face, and he squealed in protest. “And he’s not imaginary. He’s very much real.”
