    As one of the very few angels that still walk the mortal earth, far away from the safe, golden paradise of Heaven, Cloud knows he has to live his life being cautious, hidden, and safe. The medicinal properties of angel feathers and their blood of gold fetches a price higher than Cloud has ever known.

    Although an angel has never served the empire before, he hopes to catch the attention of the duke of the territory he lives in--Sephiroth, who happens to be a vampire, something Cloud should most certainly avoid-- in hopes of being chosen to work under him.
