“Mhm,” Dani says, nodding into the bed. Her hair is coming out of the towel, and Sophia realizes she’s loosening it and taking it off before she even can think to ask, or like, not do that. She’s dragging her fingers through Dani’s semi-wet curls with her oil-soft hands, massaging her head and pulling on her hair gently, the way she knows Dani likes. Dani sighs these breathy sighs.
Sophia straddles her lower back, and runs her hands up Dani’s back, and over her shoulders, and her neck, and Dani groans, and Sophia smiles. Dani loves this. Dani is happy, and relaxed, and healthy, and hers. Dani is letting her touch her. Dani is kind of letting her do whatever she wants.
__OR: Dani is injured on their LATAM tour. Sophia takes really good care of her.

Sophia Laforteza is a journalist who has been stuck in a researcher position for ‘The Riff’, one of the biggest pop culture columns in L.A., for the last four years. She has tried every trick in the book to climb the corporate ladder, but none of it has worked. With living expenses rising and her salary staying the same, the rope is starting to tighten around her neck. That is when, after a vague comment, her best friend Megan showed her an ad: FULL-TIME DOG SITTER NEEDED.
