Summary
"Don't worry, yours is special."
He took the bento box right from Yosuke's hands and opened it for him, a proud yet small smile slid his way on his lips as he did so.
The lid revealed a completely different lunch. It didn't look like leftovers – not that the other's did, because Yu's cooking was always that good — but something made separately.
"Partner, you–"
"I know you hate tofu, so I figured I'd change the recipe for you."
Yosuke gapes.
"Change the recipe… Yu, this is a different dish."

or: who would've thought that Yosuke's breaking point would've been over something so simple?

Summary
"Oh, right. You're not my Mike."
"…huh?"
Will sighs, moving his hand back to his chest, settling it comfortably under his chin.
"I thought you were," he continues, like what he was saying made any sense and he wasn't talking about Mike to Mike like they were two different people, "for a moment, at least. But my Mike doesn't look like you. Doesn't act like you."
or: after the fight at the MAC-Z, Will can feel his bones breaking even though they're completely fine and gets fed a heavy dose of painkillers that might as well function as a truth serum too.

Summary
All of Lance's resolve crumbled in seconds and he got up from him instantly, suppressing a moan when he heard Keith whine once more as they separated and practically dug his fingers in the skin of his waist.
“You're gonna have to let go if you want me to undress, Keith.”
“I know.”
“You're still holding me.”
“...I don't really wanna let go.”
or: they're both extremely embarassing for each other and cannot be normal about it.

Summary
"I wasn't used to being far from anyone in my family, so when Vero went away I was so afraid she'd simply forget about us, about me. But mamà always said that distance makes the heart grow fonder.”
Allura seems to ponder on the saying, leaning back. All her attention is on Lance, although her eyes are distant.
“But I guess that's kind of a lie or that, maybe, it's not that way for everyone. I mean, it was true for me, but maybe for some people it has the opposite effect, y'know?”
or:
Lance takes some time to mope alone. Allura doesn't let him.

Summary
“I can't,” Keith breathed, “keep pretending anymore, Lance.”
The way the sentence was delivered was the same way you'd expect someone to utter their last words, breathy and with abandon. You had nothing to lose, and you just want them to let them out desperately.
“Pretending.” Lance shaped the term carefully in his mouth. He stopped for a tick before continuing, “to… like my family? Or like, the cooking? Because I know it was Rachel's turn to cook but she's getting better.”
Keith let out a laugh that, if Lance had to be completely honest, sounded more like a cry for help.
