I wanted to rewrite Twilight at a semi-intelligent teenager who isn't a Mormon and really wanted Edward to be a hormonal mess and for Bella to have a personality and to fix a lot of the other issues like the racism, pedophilia etc. So here's my improved Twilight rewrite born from the depths of my hatred for the author.

Alice met his eye and had just begun waving him over when the boy just happened to turn his head to look at Bella to his left, and if Edward had had air in his lungs, it would have left him in that moment.
The boy looked like Harry.
There was no logical way for it to actually be him, but Edward was turning around and walking out of the lunch hall before he realised he was even doing it, and was deep in the forest barely a minute later. No way in hell was he going to confront any of that today.
